NOTICE:

We provide medical check-ups for drivers only to patients registered with us as their general practitioner or to corporate clients within the framework of occupational health services.

We issue medical fitness certificates for driving motor vehicles for the following categories:

(According to Act No. 361/2000 Coll., on Road Traffic and related regulations, and Decree No. 277/2004 Coll., on medical fitness to drive motor vehicles)

Group 1 license applicants and holders: AM, A1, A2, A, B1, B, and B+E (§ 80a of Act No. 361/2000 Coll.)

Group 2 license applicants and holders:

  • Drivers who operate motor vehicles as part of their employment, where driving is part of the job description
  • Drivers who, while fulfilling special tasks, use blue flashing lights, possibly accompanied by a siren
  • Drivers whose self-employed business activity involves driving a motor vehicle
  • Applicants and holders of certification for driving instructors
  • Applicants and holders of driving licenses for vehicle categories C1, C1+E, C, C+E, D1, D1+E, D, D+E, and T (§ 80a of Act No. 361/2000 Coll.)

When is a medical certificate required?

  • When applying for a driver’s license (e.g. during driving school)
  • Non-professional drivers holding a license for group C, D, or E must undergo regular check-ups every 2 years, and annually after the age of 50
  • Non-professional drivers must undergo a check-up at the ages of 65 and 68, and every 2 years thereafter
  • Group 2 license holders (C, C+E, D, D+E) must obtain a certificate before starting work, then every 2 years until the age of 50, and annually after 50

What to bring to the medical examination?

  • If available: the certificate/form you need to have confirmed
  • Proof of identity
  • A summary of medical records from your registered general practitioner, and any recent reports from specialists (if applicable)

What does the examination involve?

  • The applicant fills out the Medical Fitness Declaration Form (download available here)
  • The applicant provides a current summary of medical records from their registered general practitioner
    (This applies to corporate clients – patients registered with us do not need to provide this.)
  • Medical examination including: physical examination, basic hearing test, visual acuity and color vision test, blood pressure measurement, etc.
  • Specialist examinations if needed (If you already have recent findings from specialists, please bring them with you.)

Can I pay by card?

  • Yes, we accept both card and cash payments.
  • For contractual partners, payment by invoice is available.
